Information Disclaimer

Practitioners licensed by the PMA are required by license rules to provide spiritual counseling in accordance with a doctrinal code* of conduct for physical, mental and spiritual wellness. The titles PSc.D and D.PSc relate to a practitioner’s PMA license, and not to any state license authority.

PMA licensees pass a background review that includes checks for felony convictions or charges involving moral turpitude, are assessed for suitability as a ministerial provider, and are licensed based upon independent education and training received. Licensees are not trained by the PMA and license rules prohibit licensees from practicing medicine or any government regulated activities. Licensees may not examine, diagnose or treat, or offer to treat or cure or attempt to cure, any mental or physical disease, disorder or illness, or any physical deformity or injury, or, do not recommend or prescribe any medications or pharmaceutical drugs or suggest any change in dosage or discontinuation of any legally prescribed medicines or drugs**.

Products and services offered by the PMA are provided subject to this Information Disclaimer,

* Doctrinal code refers to the established set of beliefs and teachings of one’s faith, such as the holy bible.

** If you have information, or believe any Licensee has acted outside the permitted scope of duties described, please report to staff@pmai.us
