If you are having trouble getting through on the very busy PMA phone lines, you now have another option.  Since we are "multi-taskers", we can often respond to your questions on Skye between 9am and 5pm Mon-Fri CST, while we assist others by phone.

The PMA phone lines are generally swamped between these hours so if you just have a quick question, "Skype" the PMA staff.  Our Skype name is - pmastaff.

Don't yet have Skype - Get it here!

Many PMA practitioners are already using and experiencing excellent patient results with the Z Factor line of products as we actually arranged development over a year ago.

Unfortunately the distributor that we arranged to provide the product did not adequately promote so you probably may not even know about Z Factor.  That is now about to change......we have arranged for all PMA registered practitioners to purchase the Z-Line directly from the manufacturer, through the PMA Formulary Division at practitioner level pricing.

If you don't already know about Z Factor; do yourself and your patients a big favor and go to http://pmai.us/practitionerproducts and read about/order Z Factor straight from the source.  To help you get a stock on the shelves; the manufacturer is offering a 5% discount off the already low practitioner pricing through April 20th ONLY.  The 5% will be deducted before you are billed for the entire purchase amount!

Just a quick note to let you know what's happening Inside the PMA!

2011 was he biggest year to date for PMA growth, and frankly; the PMA staff is only now beginning to recover from the large volume of new applications and the considerable work that goes into getting candidates from the applicant stage through approval and issuance of credentials.

One of the top PMA goals for 2012 is to streamline the license process and to add personnel to make sure PMA staff is available to answer questions and assist PMA members and practitioners.

With this goal in mind, beginning this month we have:

    1. Transferred all licensing management back to the PMA main U.S. office in Texas.  We wish to thank Jill & Gerrick for their assistance in the past and know that while we are losing two valuable assets that have provided much needed services in the past; the PMA process will be much more efficient by managing from one main location.

    2. James O. (Jim) Brewer is now available to assist you with legal issues and questions, member complaints and to oversee final approval and issuance of license and commission.  If you have any questions regarding these topics, or if you are awaiting original license credentials; please contact Jim at the PMA main phone (866-206-8469) Mon-Fri 9am-5pm CST, or email him at jim@pmai.us

    3. Candace Donnell is now available to manage all phases of commission and license application.  If you have questions concerning application, need assistance or are in process and have questions about your application; contact Candace at the PMA main phone (866-206-8469) Mon-Fri 9am-5pm CST, or email her at candace@pmai.us

    4.  The PMA is also in the process of appointing a new clinical training director for the U.S.  Watch for the announcement coming in the next few days, and stay tuned for the 2012 clinical training schedule to be posted soon.  For the rest of 2012 and coming years, we will schedule 4-6 basic training events  in various parts of the U.S. annually.

As of this writing we are also expanding our phone lines in the main office to assure that all callers receive a "live" person to assist them.  Our deadline for "making this happen" is March 01.  At this time the PMA staff handles a very large volume of calls and emails and we know that many callers are unable to get through.  If you do call and get a message, or email and do not get a response with 24 hours, please email us again.  Very often our (necessary) spam catchers route emails to spam, and/or an email rolls so far down the list before the staff is able to reply, that no response is received.  Again, please email again of you do not receive a reply within 24 hours.

We appreciate your patience while we make these changes to streamline the PMA. We know that the protection afforded by PMA license is important to you, and we are working very hard to make sure your PMA experience is a great one!

Thanks from all of us at the PMA!

The PMA would like to thank the Members that supported the Athens Texas rally on December 17, 2011.  A Wisconsin atheist group has demanded that a nativity scene be removed from the Courthouse lawn.  5000 supporters rallied together with County officials on the 17th to send a message to the atheist "The nativity scene will be removed when hell freezes over"!

Texas attorney general issued support, promising assistance should the atheist carry out their threat to file suit.
